I've hung out with Teetz pretty much every day since he and I have been back in Lincoln and when I am not at work. In fact, I am at his apartment right now because we just layed out by the pool all morning. Kayleen will be here in a while and all in all, it is a pretty lazy Thursday afternoon.
I really like my job. Granted, it is just Office Depot and won't be my career, nor is it in any way actually related to my career, but I like the people I work with and they have all been really helpful during training. I trained yesterday and Tuesday on the register and tomorrow I am on my own. Well, there will always be someone around to help me out but mostly I will be on my own and Jo won't be on stand-by to fix anything I do wrong.
I have given up trying to figure out the male mind. For the most part guys are extremely simple creatures and think of few things but sex, food, sex, sports, sex, and (sometimes) cars. Then you meet that one who still thinks about all these things all the time, but is highly intelligent too and seems to be able to play mind games as good as any female. Those are the tricky guys you have to watch out for. Too bad they're usually so damn cute (personality and looks combined) that you can't help but liking them even though you know they are probably not good for you. Sometimes I am a sucker for guys like this, as Silas pointed out in a recent phone conversation. Thanks Si. ;)
Okay, enough babbling, time for lunch, Teetz made us grilled cheese sandwiches.
